Oh come on people, all clubs try to exploit the rules - Saints tried to argue we shouldn't get a deduction at all because it was the club's parent company in administration, not the club itself. . It's up to the authorities to react appropriately if clubs are trying to take advantage of loopholes. As I recall points deductions for going into administration came into football after some clubs (I think Leicester were the main culprits) appeared to exploit the administration process to reduce their debt levels. Leeds then went into administration after they were pretty much relegated anyway and so the rule was changed so that if you go into administration after a certain date and would have been relegated anyway the deduction carries over. You can argue the deadline shouldn't have been included but if anyone is to blame for that it's the Football League, not Pompey.
Cobblers at home to Bury; Skates away to Newport. Come on cobblers, today is the day that we look at the league 2 (Div 4 in real money) and see the skates hovering just beneath that solid black line. Love it and just for PL: Sha la la la la la la la
Nay, it's about time we experienced 'new manager syndrome'. The last time we experienced that was back in 2010 after Paul Hart took over (who turned out to be useless, but anyway....) after Tony Adams so I think it's over due!
Burnley vs Leicester on Sky Sports 1. 2nd vs 1st. Burnley unbeaten in 16. Leicester unbeaten in 18. A two-goal win would put Burnley top.
It doesn't matter whether I put Pompey to win, lose or draw in the Predictions game, they always let me down
Please predict us to lose all our remaining matches I get what you're saying, but no way would we have won under Barker
