Jesus. Pompey fans, how deluded do you guys get? http://fansonline.net/portsmouth/mb/view.php?id=543661
Please explain to me how that rule is possibly Portsmouth's fault. Newflash: Portsmouth are not the only team to have gone into admin before the deadline and ended up getting a points deduction that ends up not making a difference to to whether a club is relegated or not, but I suppose your bitterness is so all consuming that it blinds you to the reality of the situation.
It turns out that it doesn't make any difference....we are top ten premiership and Pompey are struggling. To quote Spock....a difference that makes no difference is not a difference.
You said Portsmouth aren't the only club to be given special treatment by the Football league and let off with the deduction the following season, when it actually makes a difference. Let us hear them then Manuel.
I'm beginning to read little snippets that Pompey's Ricihie Barker has been sacked. Is this true..? Bit silly at this stage, I feel, if true.
Farnborough, Crystal Palace, Darlington, etc. How many times do I have to say, points deductions come into affect the season a club goes into administration UNLESS it is after a certain date (around the end of March-ish) when it carries over. Whether it's Portsmouth or anyone else is irrelevant. Where they finish is irrelevant. Also, that was French, not Spanish.
I thought it was spanish. The whole point of the points deduction for going into administration was as a punishment. There is none when you are relegated already. Anyway, it's like flogging a dead horse with you people, because Portsmouth will always be the victim in your eyes.
And Portsmouth will always be the villain in yours. That dastardly Portsmouth please log in to view this image
Not at all. The closest comparison I can think of at this point is that if Southampton FC is Dame Edna Everage, then Portsmouth FC is Madge Allsop.
