Two old favourites wiped out straight away for this out of town distant traveller and many City away fans.

We play Middlesbrough twice in December during which they appear to change their name.
Saw that straight away as I scoured for the Middlesborough
away fixture.Only to be disappointed that I won't make the Boro away game as I've zero chance of getting home the same night...oh the unbridled joy.

Likewise. It’s an easier one for me but it’s in the netherworld of twixt Christmas and New Year so, at the mercy of the Missus’ family arrangements, I could be ****ing anywhere.

I'm hoping that we can muster up a decent squad this season but I'm worried about how I'm going to remember all these big long foreign names.I might need to revert to squad numbers this season(as in no 4 and no 8 are forging a successful relationship thus far
Only to get to November and the announcement that no 8 has done his ACL).In short,it'll be what it is but I'd like to see some decent Football this season.
Other than Chrimbo and Easter, we have 9 midweek games....5 at home, 4 away....Sort of disadvantageous us from the off.
7 games in January....6 league, plus 1 FA Cup....oouuchh

So our first home game will probably be moved to the Sunday then ?

Perfect for me. I go on my holidays 25th August for 17 nights and somehow don't miss a home game. Nice to see the 3 London aways are, at the moment, still on Saturdays.
Don't like to be pessimistic, but has there ever been a more nailed on defeat than Stoke at home on New Years Day.
