Can anyone put me out of my misery and tell me why there is such a fixation with badgers here? I know there was a long-running campaign for badger smilies on the BBC 606 but didn't know why. Is it just because they're black and white?

If so, that's fine. Didn't want to come across as badgerist or anything.
 
I like Badger's a little too much. The RSPCA have started a poster campaign featuring a frighteningly uncanny E-Fit so I'm trying to keep a low profile for a while.
 
I can almost remember the day the badger smiley campaign started :)

AbGlo was a ringleader and kept pestering the MODs on 606 to the point they threatened to ban anyone else who asked again.

They made martyrs of a couple of us by sticking us in pre-mod. It didn't work though so eventually they just shut down the feedback thread. <laugh>

toonpents: Yeah I did. Luckily they made us all have TB jabs in school.
