CELTIC boss Neil Lennon last night furiously denied hurling foul racist abuse at Rangers star El Hadji Diouf during last week's Old Firm game of shame. Lennon broke his silence after police confirmed they were investigating complaints from 200 Rangers fans that he shouted a racist insult during last Wednesday's Old Firm game of shame. They alleged that the Celtic boss could be seen shouting: "F*** off, n*****", after a heated touchline exchange with the controversial Senegalese star. They said the verbal attack was caught on TV cameras and is now on the internet. Last night, a source said detectives were examining footage of Diouf and Lennon's bust-up, which can still be viewed on the internet. The source said: "There has been about 200 emails about this and it looks like a concerted thing organised on the net. "We suspect the clip has been up on the web and Rangers fans have been encouraging each other to complain." And it's only the Celtic fans who get offended eh? 200 Gers fans -pathetic lying bastards with a Lennon fetish - say they heard Lenny make a racist insult. What a ****ing joke.

The problem for me BZ is that in another set of circumstances, I am a Celtic supporter occupying the margins as well. There are those that would describe me in the exact same terms for having a Republican politic. Perhaps I am poor at explaining things and perhaps people are unwilling to listen. I have no sympathy for the racists. There is no intellectualising it. I believe I can justify my position given the opportunity, I am just a little wary when I hear the same rhetoric I have heard directed against me and those like me.....Its odd being on the other side of the fence for change. Naively, racism is not a problem i thought we had. 2 people out of 50k isn't a problem per se, but it is damaging.
