Woah woah woah, you definitely didn't dominate us. Especially as we had chances to make it 3-1, you were the better side overall but come on dominate is a strong word.

 

Tbh if Mikel didn't lose the ball to Adam in the first half you wouldn't have scored. I think you edged it but from where I was sitting you didn't dominate.

 

Hold hard Drogs! Where do you get your 3 from? Even if that were true then Suarez, Kuyt and Bellamy should also have scored and that would have made it 3-5 - Oh sorry that was the Arsenal result as well

 

Can't remember off the top of me head but I remember thinking it when they happened, but not the point I was making anyway we certainly weren't dominated!

 

In the first half you were rubbish. For all the possession in the 2nd half you scored 1 goal from a miss-hit shot and forced 1 save out of Pepe but you were better. In the second we scored and should have had at least 1 more from Kuyt

 

Watching the full game now on LFC TV 36 minutes gone and we've out fought and out thought Chelsea,closed them down everytime they're in posession and made them make mistakes,we've had chances and scored.

Domination is'nt measured in posession alone.

 

Nor is closing down.

 

No,but 'closing down'(and winning posession)showed our commitment to win the game.

Chelsea were/are a poor shadow of the team they were.

 

When I saw Terry and Luiz in defence I felt confident. You lot are quick to have a go at Hendo but £15m for that joke of a defender.

 

Don't care what anyone else says, Luiz is class. Only thing he needs to work on is his timing and temperament which come with experience. He's got a lot of potential.

Now - the first 20minutes were ours, right up untill Mata just missed that volley. After that you were a lot better untill the 2nd half, which was generally ours untill GJ's goal.

 

Dream On Drogs you were nowhere in the 1st half.

 

We started off the better team, watch the game again.

 

Am I missing something here? Do you get 3 points for most possession, closing down or scoring the most goals?

 

I have done. How can the home team be the better team when the sum total of serious efforts on goal was 1 free kick? Whilst at the same time we ripped your back line to shreds and scored?

Even rat boy said all the warnings were there for Chelsea in the first 10 minutes

The longer you guys play Luiz as a centre half the better it is for the rest of us His positional sense is appalling, I was at the game and watched Terry "having words" with him on numerous occasions, at one point he went charging forward when the ball was being battled for on the half way line and when we won possession he was in our half and we had a 3 on 1 chance. Then he tries to dribble the ball through 3 players on the edge of his box and ends up getting booked because he lost it. I was over the moon when I saw he was playing the guys a ****in loony tune

I agree you had the better of the opening exchanges but after 15 mins had sod all else first half apart from Drogs free kick. We bullied you on your own patch for the second year running and that should worry you as we're not an overly physical team.
Second half you had a twenty minute spell where granted you had chances to take the lead but as soon as Henderson came on we plugged the midfield gaps and IMO we were the better team last 15/20 mins of second half as well.
What a joy it was to see Torres and Meireles come on and look completely ineffective was the cherry on the icing for me that.
