Prepared to sell my ticket now if anyone interested? Face value as don't want to be seen profiteering <laugh>

Cllr Paul Dimoldenberg from Westminster City Council said: “I want to say a big thank you to the Toon Army for their spotless performance when it came to cleaning up Trafalgar Square.

“It may have been a rubbish result for Newcastle United, but they scored when it came to removing bottles and beer cans and bagging them up. As the councillor responsible for keeping Westminster clean - and a Manchester United fan into the bargain - the tidy Toon Army are welcome to the capital any time.”

Think you guys have just massively over performed at the start of the season and as such expectations have massively increased.

With those expectations the players have then struggled when they are now favs to win (not this game but the league).

I said when you got Howe I thought was a poor signing. I admitted I was wrong as what he’s done to get you guys challenging is brilliant, but he has his limitations and there’s a reason why no one took a gamble on him when left Bournemouth. How he gets out of the bad form will show where he’s at.

But with no disrespect, I think based on ability and a bit of form, only really pope, Bruno, botman and joelinton would get into any of the top teams (and pope probably wouldn't cos he can’t kick a football).

The rest of the team are probably mid table average prem footballers who have hit some decent form.

Give the lad a chance.. had a bad game in the fa Cup in a team having a bad game... hasn't exactly had a chance.
Who Anderson. He’s done less than Matty Longstaff. Him along with Matty are not premier league quality. I don’t even think Sean is. But he’s playing next to Bruno and Joelinton. Two machines.

Absolutely fair point: I do have my doubts whether he’s elite:

But he is perfect for us now.

.

The start of the season was poor tbh - out of the first 8 we W1 D6 L1, ie 9 points from 8 games. It was after that we really got going. To me this current "meh" period is more similar to that , than indicative of anything going forward.

With Bruno, Pope, Willock, Targett etc all coming back into the team and no significant injuries, I can see an upturn now, although obviously the City game will be a likely loss.

Simple fact is we've got the lowest number of defeats in the league, conceded the lowest number of goals, and are only a couple of points off 4th place with games in hand.

Why have that done? Is it real? What was the tattooist thinking (get paid, obvs). Why then publicise it? What a tit.

I presume the tattooist probably made him sign some sort of waiver, ie:

"I'm a ****** who wants to get cup winners tattooed on me before the game has even been played, I hereby state that the tattooist is to take no blame under the occurrence that we lose the final and I'm left looking like the biggest ****er on the face of the planet"
