Martinez is quality at the back for them, he reads things so well and gets his body in front to either nick the ball or win free kicks. Clever player.

We need to sign first team players that will improve the team not squad players to improve the squad.
We played better today than in any of our previous CupFinals in the 1970’s and 1990’s. To whine about how poor we were but not be constructive is simply whining.
Yes we need better players but the Magic Wand Fairy isn’t allowed to interfere in football as much as previously due to FFP and, therefore, it’s all going to take time. Maybe we aren’t playing as well as we have been earlier in the season but maybe we were actually over performing earlier and this is the true actual level of this squad.
We wanted a team/Club that tried and that is what we now have. I am ecstatic that we reached a Final but extremely disappointed we didn’t win it but I for one don’t plan to throw the baby out with the bath water nor to start wetting the bed.
