A top ten moment of mine when we won 2-0 up there about 4 seasons ago.

He hit a screamer from about 20 yards and legged it the length of the pitch to celebrate with us. Top man is Solly.

 

Saturday matches used to finish between 4.40 and 4.45, now it's usually 4.55. Longer half time to sell more second-rate food and beer in a plastic container at rip-off prices. Why would anyone want to buy this stuff when there are several perfectly good chippies nearby which don't rip you off. And a bottle of water which costs £2.10 in the Valley costs 60p outside.

 

I must admit I had a pint at the Valley at the Norwich friendly. It was a hot day in my defence and I was thirsty.

The pint cost £4.50 - I have seen more bubbles in an Aero bar.

 

They should let you out at H/T to buy a bovril for £1 at the van.

That's one of the enjoyable things about travelling to away games - the food is so much cheaper (and better)

Superb fish and chips from the chippy outside Bramall Land last season for under a fiver. Kebabs £3 up there.

 

Does anyone go to the Seabay chippy in Floyd Road ?

Even the cockroaches died of food poisoning in there.

 

I was in the queue there once when the guy cooking the chips had a heart attack. I use the kebab shop. Superb chips.

 

Perhaps you can move up there then and stop troubling me.

I sat near Cole at Exeter - he broke the world speed record for how quickly you can devour 2 pies.

 

I think you'll find longer half time is because they cut back on the staff and it takes a while for one lad to serve 200 punters with a pie and a pint.

 

Fat c*** probably had chips with it.
