Queen because my parents listened to them when I was a kid, and the Pixies because when I was about 11 my mates cousin gave me a cassette of Doolittle and told me to listen to it. Seen the Pixies live 3 times now. One of my greatest regrets is that I will never get to see the Great Freddie Mercury live though Will give the Fall a listen and see if they any good.
Saw The Fall at the Reading festival in 1990 while waiting to see the Pixies. Mate was a big fan. Was hooked after that.
