The predictions which the scientific world ( 98% of it) made 30 years ago are coming true. Slower than they predicted because the oceans are absorbing more heat than was originally thought, but you can read about the effect that's having on marine life if you're interested. I've given up arguing about it, been 100% convinced for 30 years. I would just point out that we rely 100% on the results of scientific research, only in this case people refuse to believe it because they don't want to.
