But the whole point of it was to throw the opportunity out to everyone, hiring an experienced pro would be rather missing the point. It's an opportunity for someone to break into the media industry - I think it's an amazing opportunity. Had I been 20 years younger and slightly less employed I'd probably have gone for it (but I'm not and I didn't).

I assume that was the only job he could get. Going to Hymers and/or having a degree doesn't guarantee you owt.
My point is I would have thought with a private and University education behind him he wouldn't be wasting his time ringing people up asking if they have had an accident or not. That is my point.
Well someone is getting it arse about tit cos Ive just read claims that he was born in With, his dad has a barber shop there, he (Kofi), moved to Hull when he went to Hull Uni and has now moved back to With. And I have got an issue with someone doing a job when the sole prerequisite is to be passionate about Hull but he lived here for a bit and then decided it wasnt for him.

The text in my post is a copy and paste from the press release about him getting the gig, I've no idea how accurate it is. Neither do I think it makes a blind bit of difference that he lives in With, there could be dozens of reasons why he chooses to do so.
