Lambert looks a shadow of his former self. I know the formation and tactics don't suit him but it is a shame.

Was annoying that Danny Murphy was saying that he wasn't getting the supply he needs incinuating the old 'big lump and crosses'. Far from that I would suggest that Liverpool's style is perfect for Lambert quick one touch build up play, fluid attacking unit. The problem is that Liverpool are **** at doing it.

The silver lining in Rickie not getting a great time at Liverpool, is it just cements even more to him how important we were to him.

That kind of makes me sleep better.

Rickie knows this as he acknowledged in the video marking the opening of the Leihberr building.

No harm in having your beliefs re-confirmed (every Saturday afternoon).

It is a sad ending for him. It is a little like the old saying of "Never meet your heroes".... Perhaps he'll be loaned to Blackpool and score the winner to keep them up; one final positive twist in the story.

I can't help but feel so sorry for Rickie, I know his hurt will be eased every time he looks into his inflated bank account but professionally and personally the move to Scousehampton has been an unmitigated disaster.
Watching him pounding round the pitch getting absolutely nowhere and playing in a team that has no idea how to get the best out of him is sad
