Dagenham & Redbridge/Southport vs Eastleigh

I reckon Eastleigh have got a fair chance of making the 3rd round there. Aldershot would be a good opponent. :)

Incidentally, did anyone see the highlights between Pompey and Shot..? I was surprised by how excellent the Shot's goals were. Real quality.

I did not know that Pele (the one who played for us a few years ago) now plays for havant and Waterlooville?!?!

Also they had Warren Cummings and Brian Stock - both got sent off though

Oh Bumwipes. Lincoln could have been playing Dagenham & Redbridge. Daggers at home so that is St Marys innit?

No. Why would you think that? Experts are for half time/full time analysis. Excitable co-commentators are brilliant.

Like the guy on Solent commentating on the Eastleigh game? He was excitable and fun short term! I get your point though, and Imp. As long as we are agreed then that Savage has no place as the half/full time expert, I'll allow him the odd excitable co-commentary.

I don't think I could ever agree though. I want a bit of insight not "WAAAAGH". You might as well have those 'fanzone' commentaries.

TBH I quite enjoyed the game the other week with no co-commentator. Was it the Stoke cup game? A bit like when there used to be the dutch league highlights at a silly hour. Might even have been the same commentator.

As long as it isn't Clarke Carlisle boring me or Andy Townsend and his army warbling on about 'contact' all the time forgetting about if something is a foul or not.

Firstly I apologise if there is another FA Cup thread but I couldn't find it!

More importantly - there's a big match in the first round tonight: Aldershot v Portsmouth.

Should be a close match - if Portsmouth up their game!

I made one a while ago. Please close this one mods. Have bumped the FA Cup Thread.

From Fran:
They are doomed...the betting chappie in The Mirror is the worst in the world and he's going for Pompey. His success rate is below 10% by my reckoning...he'd do better with a blindfold and a pin.

I am watching the game on BT, Pompey are dire, the Refereeing is dire and Aldershots finishing is a disaster. 0 - 0 80 minutes
