Never thought I'd say it but Savage is way better in the commentary box than Owen could ever hope to be .........................

The thing with Arsenal in the cup though is that Wenger can, and will, rotate. Not only does he do it every year - regardless of who else is left in the competition, and what stage they are at - but also, when they have most of their players fit, then their rotation doesn't really change too much. Arsenal have so many options, mainly offensively, that are generally all pretty decent but without being top class. Walcott or Chamberlain. Cazorla or Ozil. Ramsey or Wilshire. Gibbs or Monreal. Does it really matter too much?

Yes Chelsea and City have big enough squads to rotate too, but when they rotate, there is a pretty clear difference between their two sides. Salah is no Hazard.

But hey, it's still nice that Arsenal have at least one more fixture.

Those of us who are really old might recall Everton having a pretty awful time in the League in season 83-84 but then came the FA Cup which they then went on to win (at our expense) Just maybe this is the season for a PL team that is a long way down the table such as Villa, WBA, Sunderland or Stoke to go and win the damn thing!!! Hope it happens for one of them.

If I was the sort of person who says 'omg' I would say it now. He is so bad it beggars belief. At one point my wife pleaded with me to turn the sound off, and I did. Much better.

His problem, apart from having a small vocabulary, is that he gets ridiculously worked up over the smallest of things and starts arguing with himself.

"Thats NEVER a penalty. Are you telling me he handled that deliberately. No way is that a penalty........." . Robbie, he didn't give it, move on.

"They've got to get it down the channels, down the channels, DOWN THE CHANNELS" Ok, ok, I get it.

In fairness to Michael Owen, he says some reasonably sensible stuff, but his voice.......
