That's my theory with betting (Jammy), although i never actually bet for real. If Ron gives me a grand, i place 10 x bets on outsiders, chances are i only need one to come in and i will break even. I think Woking returns about £750 including stake or thereabouts.

I may throw in one cert if i think there is a chance every outsider will bomb out on me. ie in this case Gillingham, although a close call. I didn't go for Sunderland, because they played Walsall the week before, so i thought Walsall would be better prepared for them this time.

What i hate with certs, you have to put a lot of money on for little return, unless i do multiple betting like you guys, but it's not my style.

I was hoping Wrexham or Maidstone would come in to give me profit, but sadly it wasn't to be. The next rounds will be better for me, because the odds will get longer, once the Prem sides are in it.

 

Haven't even seen the scores yet. Will catch up tomorrow.

I seem to be having slight problems with my postings. Maybe I'm just being dozy and not pressing the Post Reply Button. Consequently a post I thought I had sent yesterday has appeared with one I posted today. Possibly over tiredness but more likely old age

 

Well that one posted OK. I think it's because when I (occasionally) go on to FB, pressing return sends the message. So I've probably come back on here and just pressed return instead of the Send button

Where the feck is the table update Ron

 

It's not the only table I haven't updated Rocky. I have a Punter of the Year table to update and a Saturday 6 Racing Comp table to update. Just been too busy/tired. Apart from the usual work I'm building a system for Amanda as she has been appointed Sales Manager for Europe for an equestrian company expanding into Europe. Hopefully manage to do them (the comps that is) all tonight. Luckily there wasn't a L1 Betting comp on Saturday

Haha, didn’t someone win this one year having got an unbelievable accumulator early on? You get lucky on one of those and everyone is playing catch-up.

 

I will always maintain that the league is what really counts and the cup is only a distraction. Where's the bleddy proper odds for this weekend Ron?
