Whoever wins, will really fancy their chances. There will be at least one lower league team in the QFs, plus 2 of the top 4 going out.

Could have been a lot worse. With Vic back we can take them this time.

The bigger thing is replay date.

QFs are the weekend of 8th and 9th March, so presumably replays will be on Tues 25 and Weds 26 Feb - ie just days before their League Cup final.

Once the top teams had been drawn and all the easier ones had gone, it was better to get Sunderland than Swansea or Everton. Shame it wasn't at home. Our turn to win.

Who on earth is the user sa1nts? He's decided to make it his mission to sit on the Sunderland board and wind them up. Not like we have enough problems with them here anyhow.....what a tosser.

If you win the Cup, you have to beat who is in front of you. We haven't drawn a top side, so no point in moaning. Winnable.

Cardiff, Everton and Fulham presumably the happiest of the PL teams.

Would think Everton have a great chance of winning the whole thing.

It's hardly a bad draw for ourselves, Sunderland or Hull. But I'd still rather be in Cardiff, Everton or Fulham's shoes. (Even with a replay still to come, in Fulham's case).

We're too nice for someone to leave one on Wes Brown, aren't we?

If it wasn't for the fact that we'd already played them three times this season, and lost Lovren and Gaston up there, we'd be chuffed with this draw.

It could've been so, so, so much worse.

I'm mainly peeved by the draw because it means a likely return from our Sunderland friend.

Agree. A home draw would have been ideal, but I was ****ting it when Man City came out first, praying that the next ball out was not a 3.
