They supported the team loudly the entire game. They vented their anger at a dismal performance after the final whistle.

The game was over, the damage was done by the team, fans can react however they want to.

Yes I can envisage that. West Ham are just 'dodgy' all over.

Not saying they can't react however they like. I can think what I like of them. They're not doing their team any favours by booing. They may have been supporters during the game but they weren't supporters at the end. They're not owed a win for their money; they're owed a game of football and they got one.

On the subject of ITV's coverage, I went to their player to watch the highlights from yesterday, with low expectations. After the umpteenth advert, a few presenters posturing, another umpteen adverts, I gave up. Hopeless.

    It was terrible, wasn't it?

Even the filming was poor. Slow zooming, inaccurate zooming, slow camera action, poor framing... the list goes on.

It's a hopelessly poor highlights show.

There would have been an era when I would have disagreed with this view, but the supporters have paid their money, supported their team throughout the game, and they have given their opinion at the end. It may seem rude, but it is emancipated. Players are protected enough. Let them have the experience of dealing with an honest opinion for once.

Tbh -DTLW, I'll put up with a lot as long as I don't have to watch Ray Winstone calling something a proper tool yet again, or a f*****g CGI cuddly meercat informing me that something is simple, in its own unfunny way.

Of course, the really simple thing is to go and do something more interesting instead. I feel a bit of guitar practice coming on. :)

I find the constant adverts as frustrating as anything else, but the actual coverage with Matt Smith, Wee Gordon and Martin Allen, I felt, was quite a welcome change to the boredom I get when watching the BBC.

Good old Harding. Did a great service for us. West Ham with a bit of pressure now.

That was the worst defending I've ever seen from a cross by West Ham there. And I'm a Saints fan......

I think Forest are actually just a better team. It's not just because it's the FA Cup; I think if they were in the EPL they'd be giving a better account of themselves than West Ham.

And a terrible choice of fixtures! Yay we get to see Man U comprehensively beat Swansea for a third time this season, no doubt with the latter not scoring and probably not even getting a shot on target, how terribly exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The ITV commentators had been annoying me slightly. Forest have been playing very good football, not fantastic, and overall, the play isn't of the very best. However, they've just made me laugh when one of them paraphrased Mark Clattenberg...

C1: You weren't like this before you scored the goal..?

    C2: Careful..!

    :)
