Apologies … was meant to be a reply to IWAWR’s post. Didn’t manage to put his post befor the link though. Meanwhile … it’s warm today huh! Cooler tomorrow … ice age will set in soon
Will we cope with the sudden dip in temperature? No takers I see in over 27 hours. Pity. After an orgy of 'world beating' achievements during Bojo's reign, no cries of indignation or frothing at the mouth at the very suggestion that the English are an indolent bunch of moaners. Discuss. If not here then on the Politics thread.
I seem to have you stumped. Clue.....set in the 80s. Another line in the same song (should give it away)..... "From square one I'll be watching all....64".
Lol. Wish I could dance like that. No. Ok, a quick google should get you the answer...... The character who sings the song that contains the lines I've been quoting is called The Arbiter.
A genius, but not everyone's cup of tea. No, it's written by two guys who are also absolute geniuses.
I've played Freddie before, with me being a tenor and it's a very high part. This time, we've just moved house due to personal circumstances and the future is a little uncertain, so I just auditioned for Company, which is actually quite a challenging sing. I may yet get asked to play The Arbiter as that role is yet to be cast.
A couple of hundred a night. I've appeared in a musical at the Wycombe Swan which seats nearer 2,000 I believe. Usually it's small, provincial theatres.
To be fair Strolls it reflected the comments from IWAWR regarding employees today and the use of no -UK employees. I would have to agree with some of the comments about lack of investment by UK businesses, some in infrastructure, some in staff. These businesses talk efficiency but don’t see it as a long term investment, instead driven to get a quick buck at the cost of employees. It’s all bonuses, share dividends etc. etc. Meanwhile, thunder and rain down here in Dorset this afternoon. What’s all this about too hot????
