Because people like a good laugh, that's all. You'd have to read the thread title and OP to understand why I mentioned Newcastle. Don't put yersel out though, then you can just post stuff that makes no sense. BTW, will you be walking out after 60 minutes .............. or are you hard core and leaving at half time
Never left at half time, unlike the mackems who left before half time time during the 5-1 game. For the first time in my life, I wouldn't be bothered if we got beat off Cardiff. Not bothered if you go down, just want to see you squirm a bit longer.
Probably true, you have to actually go to the matches to do that I'm not squirming tbh, I was up for Cardiff and loved it. Back for WBA & Swansea ........ exciting times. How's the current run of defeats going, must be a thrill a minute
Gave my season ticket up in 2006 after over 30 years of going home and away. Seen us on over 50 grounds, including many in Europe. Still get to about 12 to 15 a season. You're right though, although we're top 10, nows not a good time to be a black and white. We're stuck with Ashley and Pardew for the foreseeable, unfortunately. We all go through good and bad times, you've got to grit your teeth and get on with it. The bastards.
Imagine if we were successful? I Can't really picture it? Too long for both of us. You're right, it's disgraceful. The strange thing is, I wouldn't swap a minute of it, probably you're the same. Fiercely loyal support for both clubs fed on scraps of ****e.
At least our lot go to games. Attendances at Sunderland's stadium suggest a lot of their fans don't even get to games. Sad times right across the North East.
Yes..us averaging 40,000 despite the fact that we have only finished in the top half of the top league twice in over 50 years is shocking eh!
Under 50,000 average guaranteed next season ....... come back and tell me if I'm wrong. Anyway, back to the thread ......... it's obvious that Giggs will be pushed out at Man Utd. That means the players won't be playing to keep him in as manager, every little helps
Robin Van Persie's nearing match fitness and should play a part in the Sunderland game... every little helps.
Tony Pulis & Connor Wickham handed April awards Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis has been awarded the Barclays Manager of the Month award for April. The 56-year-old guided Palace to four wins from five league games during the month as the Eagles climbed out of relegation danger and into 11th place. Sunderland striker Connor Wickham was named Player of the Month. The 21-year-old scored five times in April to take his team out of the drop zone, with key strikes against title contenders Manchester City and Chelsea. Every little confidence boost helps.
Every little helps. Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney will miss the Premier League visit of Sunderland after picking up a fresh injury.
Missing... As in gone missing? They'll find him in an old folks home somewhere no doubt. Last I heard he was touch and go, had flu or something, probably something Colleen served him for dinner. Bowl of 'Scouse' whatever the **** that is! I hear it's like sewage.
Be a late fitness test, even so, two strikers who aren't 100% is better than having them firing on all cylinders. Every little helps.
Would rather have them than Rooney and RVP on form though. What ever happens we're still playing against world class players. That's just unavoidable.
