Last season, unless I'm mistaken, Ampadu, Christensen and RLC were the only kids we had. The ones you say I didn't champion, Mount, Pulisic, Tomori, Reece James, Zouma and Abraham were not here, so how about reeling in the cynicism!!
I was however, one of the few championing the kids that were here, with a couple of other posters on side. II don't recall you being one of them, but I'm not going to do a fact check And I got so much grief then, it is more satisfying now than it was at the time. Fact check that too.

And I might be right about CHO as it happens, and wrong about Pulisic, and right about Abraham. Or wrong about all of them. So what? Isn't this an opinion board for discussing opinions? Or is it a shooting gallery, where you take shots at anyone who disagrees with you? Or is it a forum to show you are far more clever than everyone else?
Your fact checks on my posts are correct of course, CHO I thought was going to be a cracker, now the Bayern offer is looking like a lost opportunity. Lesson is, early brilliance is no guarantee of long term quality. CHO might come good or he might not. My guess is he will be OK, but he's no Mbappe, and he needs longer than we first thought. If you know better, back your opinion with some money and retire. Pulisic I thought was overated, and needed a season before being judged. He is proving many more "experts" than me wrong. And I will not back down from thinking Abraham is no certainty of becoming a genuine superstar striker. He is impressing me now for sure, with all the game time and everyone behind him, and definitely improving every game. Michy might be just as good if he started more often, looks to me to be a better poacher, but few agree. That's just an opinion, not a reason to put someone down. Psychiatrists call that need an "inferiority compensatory trait" by the way, worth looking up when you get a moment . Sorry, that damned cynicism is catching,
I did know all the players you say you "doubt I had ever heard of", bit presumptuous that don't you think? As it happens, I was more than aware of the lads at Derby, and all the lads at all the other Clubs you didn't mention, you don't know the half of it. You might also find in you Post searches, that I was on record as saying we should keep Jeremy Boga, and not move him on. Fortunately that has now become a possibility with Barca in the frame.
So, there'll be no more tit for tat from me. No hard feelings from my side, we are actually on the same side, which I hope you understand better.

CP has to pick his game up not to become the next Stan. Yes even though we have a largely inexperienced squad who can disappoint at times. Forget the West Ham’s and other games.we are going up.

Yes, all this reactionary rubbish to one game, performance, goal etc is exactly what the club - and supporters - need to steer clear of as we build a team, which will have highs and many lows too.

Still amazed a team as inexperienced as this - with Kante and Rudi largely injured - has made last 16 of CL and is challenging for top 4. Incredible.

Last season Reece James, Tomori, Mount, Abraham and Pulisic weren't playing for Chelsea, bit tricky to champion their place in the team when they're not at the club. Neither was Jeremy Boga who I said we were crazy to sell. Now Barca want him, and we might get him back, along with Ake, another we were dumb to sell. Conner Gallagher I'd bring back in a heartbeat too. As I said, the Chelsea kids have been one of my bugbears for years, and I took loads of stick because of it,
I still think we should have sold CHO to Bayern, especially because Sarri was very reluctant to give him game time. It's only since Lampard arrived that kids suddenly became the topic of the month, yet CHO is still not getting game time. As his form has disappeared, so Pulisic, who I definitely thought was a dud, has turned things around. He was a dud to start with too, but at the moment he's a better player than CHO. It happens with kids. CHO is either not over his injury, lost all his confidence, or possibly but unlikely, not as good as some thought. Whatever the reason, he is now an expensive bench warmer, who needs to earn his place all over again, which I hope he does.
Tammy has improved his general play, but is now struggling a bit for goals mainly because little is coming to him from midfield. He is still getting all the game time and starts that Michy isn't getting. I wouldn't be so certain that Michy wouldn't be as good as Abraham with the same opportunities. As it happens, I think Michy will jump at the chance to move on and that might be best.Frank seems to agree with you about Michy. Ampadu I rate highly, Christensen has not stepped up, and RLCs' type of play is badly missing from our midfield.
