Whatever the competition, losing 9-0 at home is pretty embarrassing.

Both clubs are a mess at the moment and all this banter is just a load of fun. Let's face it, if it wasn't for being able to rib each other it would be pretty bleak.

Good on you PompeyLapras for sticking with your lot despite the results. We do the same and my bet is both sets of fans are finding football these days just a grind. If you don't have the cash to buy success it is hard, and that's why piss taking is often the remedy.

Personally I hope Pompey start to pick up, give you guys something to really cheer about and we meet up again sometime ..... so we can give you another stuffing.

 

Not as embarrassing as wallowing in div3 every week where nobody cares what happens

Really? There's nothing embarrassing about being in the third tier, there's 23 other clubs in that division plus 24 in the division below, so there's nothing particularly out of the ordinary about that... Losing 9-0 at home is a heck of a lot more embarrassing.

 

Losing four nil to a team that conceded 9 at home must be pretty embarrassing too

 

You stay where you are, I'm sure you wouldn't swap, happy to be 15th in div 3. We'll get/are getting over our freak result let's see were we both are next May.

 

Now this is embarrassing.

 

Not when there's two division between them. If anything, you should be embarrassed you only managed to score 4.

 

We may be having a rubbish season this season, but at least it's possible we may be challenging for something worthwhile next season, rather than just making up the numbers with the best we can hope for is avoiding relegation. So yes, I'll take that over your position any day.
