Nah, I think Southgate served a good purpose, he played the media right and calmed down the constant hatred. But he needed to learn as a manager and can’t/won’t. We look like a bunch of comfortable lads having a kick about. His relaxed approach is ok, if it’s then coupled with real steel and ambition on the pitch. But it’s not. We take the same comfy, cosy approach. Nobody is being directed, it’s shapeless and dull. We need to be dynamic and take the shackles off.

Honestly I think Eddie Howe would be an excellent choice.
