Both teams all over the place now.

Wife has left the room as it’s ‘not enjoyable’. Lost count of the times I’ve tried to explain that it’s not meant to be enjoyable, unless you are three up within 20 minutes.

We need to get the ball.

If we score now does Southgate take Grealish off and put Trippier back on?:emoticon-0103-cool:

Somehow think that if either team had decided to go for it for 5-10 mins they could have won. But the risk was too much I suppose.

England’s first half, Italy’s second, cagey extra time ……**** knows how this ends.

Piss poor penalties, as usual. I hope we now utilise our young attacking players and play to their strengths rather than this dross we've had to endure in the past year or so...

Well done Italy.

I simply cannot fathom how Southgate chose all the kids to take penalties. But presumably it was all thought out beforehand. Feel sorry for them, especially Saka.

WC semi final - lose
Euros final - lose
WC final win is the obvious next in the sequence.

Heads up, no shame, Italy are a team without superstars but a real team.

Bad tactics for the penalties.

The two subs for the penalties totally backfired.

Very disappointing!

Saka and sancho penalties were at a lovely height for the keeper and not hit with enough pace..... all a bit telegraphed..
