To be fair, the Spanish do play the (almost) perfect football. Perhaps I just want Italy to win but Spain is just another class of their own.
Its difficult for italy to play their positive pressing game on a team like Spain, they just move the ball too well and too quickly.
He really is, reminds me of a younger Foden, who i reckon will start tomorrow and show us just how good he is.
Absolutely. I also wonder whether their high energy game has left Italy a bit knackered after so many games in a short space of time. I still fancy them more likely to score though.
He may start Saka to give Walker some help. We've looked most at risk down our right. Foden isn't the best at working back, although an unbelievable talent going the other way.
Italy are no mugs mate. If jorginio can lose koke for a bit then they may have some joy but one single direct ball could open up spain. I would target that chelsea right back as spains weak point.
He might and nobody would grumble at that selection. I touched on the squad of 23 to 26 earlier on in the thread. Thats where we are out there in quality in reserve. Not many teams have that.
Apart from the odd good break, Italy look a shadow of the side they've looked throughout the tournament. Look to be set up in a rather boring 4-5-1.
Only one team going for goal. Italy will need the pens to go through as I just cannot see them scoring a goal tonight.
