Belgium need to push up against the ball..... they are allowing Italy to pick passes without being under pressure....
 
Great game. In the past Italian teams would have shut up shop at 1-0 but not this team, bravo Mancini, pressing hard at the beginning of the second half. Having no superstar, like del Piero or Baggio, suits them.

Belgium have too many very good players to relax against.

Great game, high quality. Two teams trying to impose themselves on the game while respecting their opponents. But I’m sure not everyone will agree.

I was just saying that to my son. Seeing an Italian side in front but still flooding forward is not what I'm used to. Very refreshing.

I was dismissive of Italy earlier in the tournament, but I was wrong.

Both teams with yet another very mediocre performance and lack of any suspense. Recently we could see the difference where every neutral spectator saw and feel how real entertainment should be perceived.
 
End to end.....

Lovely move by Belgium ends with great block on the line....... then Italy break and a chance for immobile....

Both sides look so good going forward..... great viewing....

Yeah, I couldn’t believe they were as good as they looked. They are, and they have a great team spirit, and they mix up the play, possession when needed, moving the ball very fast when the opportunity is there. Immobile isn’t a bad player, but a better striker in this team would make them truly terrifying. Should have one or two goals more but they could still lose this.
 
Great game. Italy pushing Belgium hard but you still feel Belgium could find that one goal to equal up. Tense and exciting stuff.
 
Spinazzola injured, a real blow he has been superb at wing back, looks like he’s out for the rest of the tournament. I hope Mourinho lets him play with this intent and purpose for Roma next season.

4 minutes to go, can’t really blame them at this stage. Still risky against this team.

He might not have been ten yards from the kick, but the ref wasn’t looking so don’t see how he could book him…..

5 minutes to go. Can still see extra time in this.
