Portugal on paper look a much stronger side than the team which won it last time out.

Set up to cater for Ronaldo, who misses a sitter.

My next door neighbour is from Madeira, as is Ronaldo. His Sky feed was 5 seconds behind ordinary Freeview, so we were braced for the bellows of joy before they came…..but Portugal can’t win this, he also supports Chelsea so he’s had his big present for this year. Portugal are a good team though and I think they will be better against better opponents. I just hope that this weird format doesn’t end up with a final round of group games that don’t really matter.

My brother-in-law is a Sporting fan, so he's definately had his big present for the year!
 
Got the makings of a good game, France scoring early is probably the best thing for an open game

If you can get past Kante France might be vulnerable in the middle. Or that might be wishful thinking.

Without wanting to reinforce stereotypes, the windows are open, and every time there is a chance/bad challenge all I can hear I'd someone shouting...'oh la la la la la la la.'
 
At times France look like they have more than 11 players on the pitch, but then I suppose Kante is 2 or 3 players in 1......
 
Big chance for Rabiot to make it 2-0 France........hit outside of post, should have scored

French lad with bang to head gives France a bit of a breather....
