I've been surprised how little interest there seems to have been in this tournament. I'd assumed it was because England weren't involved in most of the games, but even today it's quiet.

I don't imagine neutrals are sitting on the edge of their seats, especially after the craziness of yesterday.

 

In 60 years of watching England in Tournament games, this has got to be the worst England team I have seen, and possibly Germany too

The one thing I hate about this is that Boris Johnson will milk this for his political advantage. If we get to the final, he'll be there, having suddenly discovered that he's been an avid football fan all his life. He might even turn up in an England shirt and shorts - a new costume from his usual hi-viz jacket or doctor's coat.
