I've seen most of the games. and it really hasn't hit the heights yet for me. Like I said, maybe it will in the 2nd and 3rd group matches when teams really have to have a go depending on what they need
No only 4 out of the 10 games so far have been 1-0's. Its been the most common scoreline but the results have not been mostly 1-0's.
Okay but after 90 minutes another 3 games have been 1-0 (England conceded in injury time and Germany and Italy both scored in injury time) not exactly free flowing end to end stuff.
I was going to point to the number of late goals to demonstrate that it has been entertaining. They've been tight but dramatic games.
Thought the German and Italian performances were typical of them both - they know how to win tight games - and the England performance was also typical - we don't know how to . Predictable stuff from all 3
Spain should have scored a hat full today - how Belgium didn't score I don't know and Poland should have scored more against Norn Iron. Not to mention England's costly failure to get more than 1.
I feel like we were unlucky, but it feels that way every ****ing tournament. I wish for once we could just play to our best and not have to talk about how well we actually played and if the ball had fallen better or the ref wasn't a **** etc etc.
Are you judging whether the games have been 'free flowing end to end stuff' by the full time scores? Last night's match was the definition of 'free flowing end to end stuff', as was the first half of Germany vs Ukraine (which admittedly did tail off a bit).
