I heard that Beethoven was black, took the person to a library and showed them a book. Changed from being black to "of dark complexion" after seeing paintings of the German composer.
I've also been told that white folks refuse to accept that the majority of historical figures were black because we are racist. According to my bredren practically every single invention from the wheel to rocket ships were all invented by black people. No proof other than the same regurgitated lists that do the rounds on the tinternet.
Same ones where black soldiers won the Civil War, WW1 and WW2. Surprising that although there weren't many black soldiers in any of these conflicts they were won but the Vietnam War, where there were many more black soldiers in comparison, somehow got lost.
Saw some ******ed fat ****** on YouTube saying that blacks invented almost everything but the racist whites patented the inventions and claimed them .

Silly cow is just reading off the same list of black inventions I get sent. But research is "fun.da.f.ucking.mental" y'all. My peeps lap this sh.it up.
YouTube is full of rubbish like this but on the flip side there are nut job fundamentalists, religious freaks, far-right thugs and flat earth conspiracy theorists too.
YouTube is everything Grove you could read excerpts from a book or watch a cat playing a piano.
Some of it is factually accurate some is mental people but to dismiss everything as false just because it's on YouTube is pretty ignorant.
Television content especially the news is not credible either most of the time.
I love YouTube by the way, despite it being the platform for all the crazies who haven't managed to get onto the dark web it is full of interesting and entertaining stuff. I've lost days flicking through music videos, I'm a sucker for the suggested playlists that scroll down the side when I'm watching.
Youtube is ****e. No matter what music videos you watch it will inevitably find it's way back to Bon Jovi because you accidentally clicked on one of their videos in 2011.
