It wasn't particularly savage, Olney just seems another incompetent Liberal who will end up strengthening the leave vote.. Funny though. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

The irony being that Davis and Johnson are weakening it to the point that it's effectively not going to happen.

I love the way some seem to think we should be upset instead of being amused. They really don't get it. :emoticon-0102-bigsm
You've demonstrated through thousands of essays and tantrums about people being ignorant ****s that you never get upset Dull <laugh>

This guy is going to pull the lightweight Davis apart.

EU negotiator mocks Brexit Secretary David Davis over Conservatives' shock by-election defeat in Richmond

Guy Verhofstadt previously compared Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson to ‘rats’ fleeing a sinking ship

The Lib Dems wee going around saying they would stop Brexit, They cant stop it. Also as you said Richmond was very pro remain, so the Lib dems winning it is no shock at all.

They were saying they would vote against it in the Commons. So will some Labour MPs, and probably a handful of Tories. So Brexit can be stopped, although it's a bit of a longshot. Thing is, people are slowly waking up to the reality that Brexit is a ****ing disaster waiting to happen; if it can be stopped then every effort should be made to do so imo. This is too big an issue for the Remain side to just rollover and let it happen.

She said she'd vote against Brexit not stop it. You've taken the Mail and Express as gospel again. That's why you're wrong about pretty much everything.

As it happens, Brexit isn't really going to happen anyway. We will exit the EU and then pay to be a junior partner in it. A weaker Britain as chosen by the old, the scared and the stupid (a hat trick in Pete's case).

He's their heavyweight, pushed forward as a warning to others that are looking to bail out of the sinking ship. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

The really daft bit was Farage and Johnson making it personal with the guy holding all the cards.

She said, or promised, that if it came to a vote in the commons that she'd vote against activating article 50.

The Lib dems overturned a 23,000 vote majority. That's some achievement.
