Education is the only way to reduce racism/xenophobia in society and it takes at least a generation to achieve though realistically more and can never be fully stamped out. For the dim Kustards and outright dangerous lunatic Zlatans of this world it's too late. You just have to hope each generation learns from the mistakes of the previous one but it will always be there, especially given these sorts of people tend to reproduce in big numbers (which should please Zlatan).

I'm not so sure. We are all embarrassed by our parents to some extent as kids. I wouldn't consider my dad an actual racist but he is old-fashioned in his choice of words at times. Parenting is to blame for various issues in society but kids have other examples to follow.
