Country's full of thick ****s....thats the problem?

The education system doesn't help. The dilemma there is, it's run by"educated" people. Seems they're failing in their primary function. Perhaps "educated" people need educating.

Did I say that? Our media's run by propaganda peddlers, that's the problem.

Elections are won on what people believe, rather than what's actually true.
There was a pre-General Election online poll that asked people who they'd vote for based upon policies that had no party attached to them.
The Tories came last out of the six parties that were used, as people don't like their actual policies.
People don't know what they're voting for, in a lot of cases, because they're misinformed by the media.
I never said you.... But on this thread leavers have all been branded thick ****s.And according to the remainers
the country will be in the **** because of it.On that basis i'm asking if the voting system should be changed?

I reckon we should limit the opportunities to vote for undemocratic, petulant types. They've already shown they're against the system. <ok>

Did somebody say that all Leave voters are thick?
I've seen more of those kind of generalisations from the Leave voters on here about remain voters, I think.

Doesn't like the undemocratic.
Wants to remove the vote from those that disagree with him. <ok>

If I was to generalise leave and remain voters it wouldn't be on intelligence, it would be on risk.
The more you have to lose from the risks of Brexit then the less likely you are to vote for it.

That's bollocks!

I, and many others have said that if you considered all facets of your decison. The effects on the economy, the long periods of uncertainty, then I disagree with your decision, but respect it.

However, you cannot get away from the fact that there were many who had little idea what they were voting for. Who voted on one narrow aspect, such as immigration. And even the morons who actually believed this bullshit about £350mill pw for the health service.

Nope. you're trying to take a piss take literally, and still balls it up. <ok>

It's not that they disagree with me, it's that they disagree with the principle of democracy that under pins the system.

They should have the courage of their convictions an boycott it.

Yup. "Remainers". Or "snowflakes" as Kustard likes to call them.

But he and Pete do like to categorise people!

I think that they've just been pointing out specific thick voters, rather than the group as a whole.
I'd disagree with them, if that is the case, though.

My problem is that virtually all of the reasons that I've heard for leaving are either based on lies or are crap.
There are some worthwhile arguments, but they're not the ones that I keep hearing or seeing.
When you see places that have very little immigration and benefit heavily from the EU voting Leave, then something's odd.
Somewhere like Swansea, for example. That made no sense.

You've literally said that undemocratic people should lose the vote, which is itself undemocratic.
You didn't say that they should voluntarily give it up, so please don't try to change it now.
By your own standard, you should stop voting, as you're undemocratic.

And others that voted on what turned out to be wrong predictions of world wars* and financial disaster. Now we've moved on, so far it seems one side was possibly more wrong than the other. :emoticon-0105-wink:

* I know doley Dave didn't say that word for word, but it is what he was trying to imply before legging it away from the ridiculous claim.

You're ****e at this spin lark. <ok>
