Understandably they don't want to upset their almost entirely white British readership. I can't say I hear much about Jews being demonised in the Mail. Not in the modern era anyway.

 

I reckon they would mention his background if he was in London shooting Palestinians.

 

My position is that you have to want to read stories demonising specific minorities if you choose the Mail of all the options out there.

 

Do you think people aren't able to discern these things by themselves? Jews don't commit as much crime.

 

I'll take your word for it, I tend to look at a variety of sources before forming an opinion, and like on here, I try to read the post rather than the poster.

Limiting yourself to left wing publications will leave you with a very limited view of world events.

I like the i. Sometimes the Times/Sunday Times. Tend to watch Sky News but read BBC News.

 

You have quite a narrow choice, and you seem to have missed the Mail off it, unless you base your opinion of it on something other than reading it.

I don't need to actively seek out the Mail to be exposed to it. It's ridiculous enough to be highlighted for what it is often enough and failing that most of it is posted on here.

 

A good rule of thumb is treat every Mail and Express headline as sensationalist bullshit, playing to it's outraged audience

There'll sometimes be the glimmer of an actual story hidden in the latter paragraphs, that often contradicts the headline.

If there's 'an Express source' mentioned in the first 2 paragraphs file under fictitious bollocks

You seem to be confirming the original comment I made about people avoiding discussing the issues by hiding behind the 'source' rather than having a view on the content.

You add to that by saying you rely on others to provide you with an opinion and post from a position of ignorance.
