What does it mean if a foreign language is 'rapidly becoming the mother tongue' of a different nation? I would personally argue that being a 90% white American majority in 1965 to only roughly 60% today is indeed being subsumed - as we will eventually find out in this country within the next 2 generations if current trends continue.

It depends if you're bigoted enough to automatically equate ethnicity to culture.
If young hispanics in the US speak English, work, pay taxes and generally contribute to the country, what's the problem?
Why does America have to be majority white? Because the whites stole the land from the Native Americans? Or because the whites imported slaves?

Do you have figures for what % of the US population had blue, green, or brown eyes in 1965 compared to now? Who would give a ****?
