I'm sure we once owned half of France and a decent chunk of Spain.
Keeping America went well as I recall.

The Yanks think we're a base for their military operations, that's all. They lie to us, spy on us, and their only interest is The UK is a strategic self interest.

You're knocking Trump? Seems a bit odd, as you sound just like him.

House of Plantagenet, they were French, more than English, but looks an interesting read.

Germany has won a lot of wars: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wars_involving_Germany
When did I say that you couldn't have views that differ from mine? Yours don't appear to differ from Trump's, though.

Name any recent royal house and you will find they weren't English. Sax-Coburg (Windsor), Hannover, Stuart, Orange.

Germany and it's predecessors have been going to war for centuries.
It's very debatable which were the most important wars, as the country wouldn't exist if it had lost some of the others.

Your views are nothing like Trump's?

He backed the thing that you're named after! <laugh>

To be fair Germany is the remainder of the Holy Roman Empire if you trace it back so they have been losing ground just as long as we have. It's a bit sad really to hear the view of someone who only judges the present day on which country won the most wars.

The Germany today is nothing like the Germany who had its arm twisted into supporting the Austro-Hungarian empire or that was swept by excessive nationalism by a short Austrian madman. If anything it's Austria and Hungary you need to watch out for.

Hardly surprising. The party's full of conspiracy theorists and fruitcakes.
They've just elected another Putin puppet to run it, too.

You joke, but they do have links to some rather anti-scientific American groups.
The voters aren't all mental, but the politicians all seem to be either bent or nuts.
