Sounds to me like the Express have so little actual news they are having to be 'creative'.

I was thinking the same. There is nothing positive to report so they deflect by "ridiculing" the people who didn't vote for the ensuing shambles.

There appears to be a furore over this list of MP's who allegedly criticised Corbyn and his allies!

These include Jess Phillips for telling Diane Abbot to **** off!..this should become a standardised method of dealing with Abbot!

John Woodcock for calling Corbyn a '****ing disaster' which seems an eminently fair description to me!

And Tristram Hunt for saying Labour was 'In the ****'. No ****!!??

For once, MP's telling the simple truth and they get persecuted for it!!

They can't do a lot of it, because it's internally contradictory.

Bank of England admits it had its sums wrong about post-Brexit Britain

BRITAIN’S economic Brexit bounce was made official today as the Bank of England was forced to admit it had been too negative about the financial impact of the vote to leave the European Union.

There is a gentleman's understanding in this thread that we post links to news stories. To date the only links that have been dodged are those from the Daily Mail and Express as even the sad old men who read them know that both papers are edited to appeal to scared old women.

How are sales at Ballymore? Very slow according to your boss.

I'm not going through it all again, Stan. This is nothing more than the lull, caused by the delays in triggering article 50.

To many people it will seem that nothing much has changed. But it is, the effects will feed through. And, if they ever get around to triggering article 50, then the fun will start!

Tristram Hunt should be driven out of the Labour Party for being called Tristram FFS.

    The answer is yes,
We represent 7% of German exports and while imposing tariffs might knock 1-2% off that, it will also make our exports less competitive and enable them to export more within the EU.
That isn't the big prize though. Frankfurt, Berlin and Paris all want to take the Euro clearing trade from London. That prize is worth the loss of a few exports to the UK.
