I'm not quite sure why you think it was a bizarre rant, did I say anything that wasn't correct? Did I say something that had no relevance to what was being discussed?

Again, my dislike of Islam isn't irrational. You would understand this if you knew any thing about it - which you clearly don't.

It wasn't about EU migrants, it was about 3rd world migrants.

 

But why are you scared of 3rd world migrants as you call them. Do you think you are better than them because you were born a white European?

Someone who isn't batshit mental and xenophobic wouldn't care how to alleviate an ageing population. Immigration is necessary. Even in some magical scenario where the government find some way to make white British people, and bizarrely no one else, **** like rabbits and churn out ten kids each, it will take 25 years to have a positive effect, not to mention a whole host of problems that would arise from the birth rate suddenly shooting up.

Disliking an entire religion is another sign of someone being a moron at best.

 

Whilst I read the bigoted musings of Pete, Kustard and Zlatan, I'm also watching a Sky Sports doc on the iconic 1968 Olympics Black Power salute, one of the great images of the 20th century. I studied 1960's America as part of my degree course (University not Poly Pete, does that make me "better" than you?) and I think the civil rights movement of that time was beyond ****ing inspiring.

I've just seen the Tories aren't competing in the by-election for Richmond and UKIP have backed Goldsmith as an independent and won't compete either. May's majority dwindling....

 

Interesting to consider that and look at the history of the US political parties, and UK attempts to abolish the trans-Atlantic slave trade.

It's surprising to learn that the Republican Party (Trump's party) was created largely to fight for the rights of blacks and liberate slaves, proposing they get equal rights, and the Democrats (Clinton's Party) very strongly opposed it. To such a degree, that with the support of the party, one prominent democrat created the KKK, and killed republicans irrespective of colour. (Roughly a quarter of the victims were white). The democrat history on race continued, not in ways to help blacks, but in ways that helped the democrats right up to modern times. The change in perception came after democrats needed to curb the black majority areas, so pushed them into poverty, before offering hand outs to save them from starving.

Wilberforce, despite being nominally independent, was supported by prominent Tories, and his opposition was primarily the Whigs, the party that became the Liberals.

It's also worth googling to find some of the things the Clintons have been up to on fraud, sex and the activities of their 'charity' foundation, and then compare it to what's released in the mainstream media.

To bring it back to the EU, foreign news sites talk about many problems in the economy, with predictions of financial crisis yet very little is laid at Brexit's door, which is in contrast to the media here.

Slightly off topic. I wonder what the immigration figures will be in a few months. I have a Bulgarian friend whose brother and sister are both moving back. I also have a South African friend whose gone back to find work after living here over 20 years. I know it's anecdotal but I sense we are not as attractive a location to come and live as we once were.
It wouldn't surprise me to see a marked decrease in immigration numbers over the next 12 months
