Farage stepped down because he was afraid he might be asked for a strategy for negotiation and,as we all know, he didn't have clue,

Basically you have described how I see the general split in vote remain/leave.

Those who had less to lose generally voted leave. Be that unemployed, retired or wealthy enough to ride the wave.

It was as much a balance of financial impact as anything else.

If the vote had been in a couple of years from now, I would probably have voted to leave as my financial reasons for remaining would have be negated.

They should disband. The infighting seems to be because some of them believe they're more than they are. They've always been a single issue protest group, serving as a vehicle for Farage. Now he and the issue are not there, they need a whole restructure.

The crazy thing is, with the lib-dems being a non-entity, Labour being unable to decide who or what they are, and people pissed off with economists and Westminster, they still stand a chance if they can get their act together.

The hit to the UK economy has yet to be anywhere near fully assessed, but it will be a big one! Make no mistake, the pain will be felt most by those that can least afford to feel it. Ironically, probably mostly those who voted leave for various reasons.

In a nutshell, there's a lot more pain coming the UK public's way!

Recovery? Long and slow, if there ever is a full recovery.

As most everyone predicted. Americans are making a similar statement in Trump. It'll keep on happening until the economists and politicians wake up. People are tired of their failures, pomposity and arrogance.

Quite a few see such things as just business as usual.

Just wanted to address @The Zlatan and his Islam fear.

Have you ever read the Quran? Or the bible?
Well I have, both of them, cover to cover.
They are both full of bullshit and idiotic "morality tales", BUT....they are more or less the same god damned book.
The Bible,I am talking Old Testament here, you could argue, is even worse when it comes to brutality.

The main difference between Islam and Christianity, is that there are no longer many countries (to my knowledge), that base their whole culture on the bible and abide by its writings, hardcore like, like some Middle Eastern Countries do with the Quran.

In some African Christian countries they practice female genital mutilation, which is horrific (Oh and read Numbers 5:11 to see how Christians deal with unfaithful women, it's a real hoot).

The problem is some Middle Eastern countries that govern their cultures based on the teachings of a book written thousands of years ago, which is not relevant in the 21st century.
Most religious people just use the book these days as a Morality guide, which is fine, but if you need to be told not kill someone, or rape another mans wife by a book I would question your mental integrity, personally :p

Not really related except on religious terms.
I like to challenge my beliefs and so recently I've been talking to creationists and flat earthers. Their whole position is based on the bible being true and Nasa/government's lying to them to hide the real truth.

A very ineffectual MEP though. He didn't even turn up to committee meetings that he was chairman of. He is not capable of positive constructive thought.

I didn't mean that. He actually takes less out than he's entitled to, and has highlighted the ridiculous nature of how mep's get allowances, unlike others in there.

It's another good reason to chop away from that failed institution.

I was looking at a few flat earth sites, and was impressed by how much work they'd put in, until I realised that it wasn't supposed to be humour, and they were actually serious. <laugh>

Obviously it's not fine is it if you need to finish the paragraph in such a manner?

Religion is not just a set of rules that tell you not to shag the neighbours wife or don't steal. It's a lot more than that. Through it we have a lifestyle, we have religious holidays, customs and practices and yes through it we also form opinions.

Tell me how old were your kids before you told them Santa does not exist? I bet you celebrate Christmas yet you are not a Christian. I bet you think Santa is related to Jesus. Coca Cola think differently.

Have a good look at yourself Bo before you think anyone who believes in God has a problem.

Don't forget to buy your kids/ grandkids their Halloween costume.....a juicy Pagan custom for you to enjoy.

    Hypocrite <ok>

Ugh, them guys are bat ****.

What on Earth would NASA's motivation be for making everyone think the earth is round when it is flat?
What is ANYONE gaining from lying about that?
See with conspiracy theories, there has to be a reason for why the conspirators do what they do.
For example, people say the US government were involved in 9/11 because it gave them an excuse to invade the middle east (thats an overly simplified version but its the general jist). Now I don't believe it at all, but there is at least a plausible reason as to why they might pull of something like that.
Unless NASA or the US government have a "Earth is round" patent, and are making royalties off of people believing the Earth to be round, then I am confident that Flat Earthers are bat **** crazy <ok>

One site I read reckoned it's because the real world leaders live in Antarctica, and that's why there's a multi-national deal keeping everyone out. If you ruled the world, an underground bunker in Antarctica is such an obvious choice of where you'd aspire to spend your days.

There are few youtube clips showing conclusive proof that the earth is flat, and link to google maps. They reckon that the fact you can't pass over either pole on there, proves their theory.

That was mostly tongue in cheek Spur!
I do not celebrate Christmas, no.
Santa is related to Jesus? No idea what point you are making there mate.
Why am I a hypocrite? What did I say that's hypocritical?
