    I was reading earlier today that apparently UKIP introduced psychometric tests a few years back to weed out the nutters who wanted to stand as candidates.

    There would have been no advantages for the UK being in the Eurozone or in Schengen, damn ****ing right we opted out.

    When it was launched the pound was worth EUR 1.6. Its now worth EUR 1.1. Yes its a massive failure!

    What has the strength of the pound got to do with it?
    The pound has fallen because we are about to leave the EU.
    The pound has taken a hammering because of that, and its STILL worth more than the Euro, even in all this instability.

    Even the Centre for European Reform have come out and said the Euro has been a failure.

    The issue about the single currency is it inhibits governments from being able to improve their economies
    it's not the rate of the euro against other currencies
