I really hope that May isn't that stupid to allow herself to get railroaded into a hard Brexit by Barmy Boris & co.

But, at the moment, that's where the markets see us going!...

She seems to be Blair in a trouser suit so she'll do whatever she thinks will make her popular. So far she's been incredibly unimpressive.

... possibly over rumours that one or more might be jumping ship to the Tories <yikes> ... surely there is no common ground or place in the Tory party for anybody not already on the short list for cannonisation? ... Pete will be bealing ... he'll no doubt console himself by trawling the internet for hours looking for scandal on naughty Labour types <laugh>

    Good news.
The fall in the pound means our gross contribution to the EU is now £402m per week.

    Extra £52m for the NHS

    £-€. 1.10
    €-$ 1.15

They're guesstimates ATM as things stand. If things get worse, it could go to parity or close against the Euro.

It will all kick off in August when it costs £3 for a pint of San Miguel in Magaluf. Until then, the masses will be content.

    From the ONS.
'The UK’s deficit on trade in goods and services was estimated to have been £4.7 billion in August 2016, a widening of £2.5 billion from July 2016. Exports increased by £0.1 billion and imports increased by £2.6 billion.'

So the exchange rate made our imports £2.6 billion more expensive but don't worry as our more competitive exports offset that by £0.1 billion.

It's a blindingly obvious result of the U.K. trade imbalance.

Inflation coming to a town near you - soon.

He voted Labour when living in Hull before UKIP came to prominence. Not really surprising.
