The English language is constantly evolving. New words are added every year, but my personal opinion is that many of them should have gone straight into the dustbin. You should also remember that the laxity that is often permitted in spoken English is not always acceptable in written form. The norms of written English do not apply in plays or in dialogue in novels.
Several of the comments about the article do not agree with the author.

Carefull, it's very easy to get drawn into his world of pedantry.

There's probably a good reason most drag Queens are scouse. What's odd is they seem to be the ones with deeper voice, rather than the gormless, squeaky, high pitched whine the others are stuck with.

Spoke to a mate of mine in The City this morning. He tells me that the markets now see May proritising immigration over trade and the banks. He thinks things will get much worse in the coming months.

The markets are no longer hoping for the best case scenario.

 

It's very worrying. Pound is pretty much in freefall at the moment, down nearly 5% this week.

Sad thing is the general public are not going to wake up to this until after the damage is already done. I suspect todays falls are thanks to Merkel getting full backing from German business leaders for a no compromise strategy.

 

The £BP (no G required at the minute) is collateral damage in the war against foreigners and Muslims. Have they all been exported yet?

 

Meanwhile UKIP politicians are assaulting each other.
