Well, some people agree with me, so I'll carry on posting if that's alright with you.

I'll be okay. I changed all my money into the new plastic fivers. Being made of a highly resilient polymer compound, they'll be unaffected by all talk of Brexit.

Going off topic a little, but I love those fivers. Cool as f**k.

If you get one with a 'AA' code on it they are worth around £20 on ebay. Ones with 'AA 000' are going for £200.

I'd do it quickly though if you've got any, because the way the pound is tanking, you might as well be buying Monopoly money soon.

So far, I've yet to come across one that's obviously been up someone's bugle. But I'm assuming they are a more efficient method of relaying the devil's dandruff to the back of the brain than the old paper ones?

Look mate, I have refrained from having a dig at you so far. Forgive me if I don't take advice from someone who is stupid enough to lay their life bare on a football forum. Not everybody lacks understanding just because they disagree with you.

It's really a matter of would his right wingers have the power to oust him if he reneged?

If so, they would probably have tried to take us out of Europe without a referendum.

Most of them would have defected to UKIP. Even if the Tories ousted him with a right wing Eurosceptic, they wouldn't have been able to take us out of Europe without a referendum. Dodgy Dave took a selfish gamble and lost.

"Taking jobs British people could do"

Which conveniently ignores the simple fact that unemployment has remained virtually constant despite the influx of circa 2m EU immigrants.

As they've taken jobs that the British feckless have no interest in taking, as they're happy sat on their arse watching Homes under the hammer....

He underestimated how many bitter, angry people there were, how much people resented the establishment, and the extent to which voters would use the referendum as an opportunity to tell the political class to **** off. He also underestimated the influence of a rabid right wing media, and to seal the deal he then led a woeful campaign. Utter ****ing balls up, we'll be paying the price for years.

Of course, the sorriest irony is that it will be areas like Sunderland, Cornwall and Wales that will feel the impact hardest. Those parts of Britain that hadn't really begun to recover from the recession were the ones that voted leave in the most overwhelming numbers; and they are precisely the areas which will be the first to suffer the economic impact of this act of collective self destruction.

I don't think they would have. Why do that if you can hijack the existing Gvt.?

Yes, a referendum would probably have been necessary. Come to think of it, with a right wing Tory Gvt advocating a leave vote, the real thickos might have all voted to stay instead!
