No, soppy bollocks. If we wanted to protect our fishing industry, we should have gone to war with Iceland in the 1970s.

The issue was a tad wider than that. It would have been far more than Iceland involved.

I knew that fish such as salmon were migratory, but are cod and haddock (typical "chip shop" fish)?
Sorry can't be bothered to google, but as a percentage, what are the numbers of the traditional type fish (again the chip shop variety) consumed against the more healthy fish options today. I'm kind of guessing the healthier type fish have overtaken the more traditional varieties?

They are semi-migratory

Yes Cod and Haddock are semi migratory and do not remain within our waters throughout the year. They move to colder waters in the summer and warmer waters in the winter.
Global warming is expected to restrict their range further and so possibly mean they will no longer be common in UK waters regardless of the time of year.

Dont agree, if she is not happy with what the EU offer, it will be up yours EU and goodbye, not what we all want, but thats the ultimate outcome
And she'll **** the economy for a decade plus, in order to appease xenophobes. That'd be one of the most stupid decisions in our modern history

The events of the last year have shown how undemocratic the left is. Leftist policies are bad for the world. Now the world will be a better place.
The world was a bit of a mess when the Nazis were trying to annexe half of it you dozy, fascist failure.

So you think she will allow the EU to dictate everything, you really are a bit dim.

They are already dictating Custard. We haven't even triggered article 50 and we are being excluded from EU discussions. Their next get together is in Malta and we don't have an invite?
We are going to have our pants pulled down, it's just how far down we will have some influence on. Play nicely and we may keep some of our dignity, play hardball and they will be round our ankles.
