Brexit is The Secret for Daily Mail readers, basically.
Tell yourself that everything's fine and it will all work out! Now buy my book.

@Blueman you can't argue with that. If it made sense you could.

I think I have outdone myself on that one.

I will start again. This time in English

They give it out, just as I do (we are talking about abusing each other)
So if they don't like it, don't dish it out.

As you voted to leave, did you have total carnage in mind?

At the time I was expecting some short term doom, which suits me personally, and long term to be less affected if the EU collapses than we otherwise would have been. If I knew then what I do now I don't think I'd have voted Leave.

So you did not do any research then, as it was all out there.
Also how do you know the long term will be, its impossible to predict, just like the weather.

Just what exactly is it that you "know now" that has got you all jittery?

I know it's hard to tell at times on this forum, but isn't just what you have described the story so far?
Not as bad as some predicted, certainly could have been worse, but we're still at the phoney war stage so still lots of unknowns.

Thanks for another example of something unpredictable, albeit a terrible comparison.

No, I didn't do much as I suspect most people didn't nor do they before general elections. You still don't have a clue.

Quite a lot has happened in the last six months you may have noticed.

    Economically, yes. Politically, no.

Lots of unknowns indeed. If we end up with a soft Brexit I won't be unhappy. Hard Brexit wouldn't be good at all. Obviously just an opinion on a discussion forum.

    I'm not jittery.

Cameron had his flaws but was a decent enough PM. May is unelected and clueless. I don't have faith in her to achieve the best possible Brexit. I think Cameron would have got closer.

I would be happy if some ****er came out and explained the real difference between the two, not the constant sound bites we are being drip fed!!

I predict that, where I live, in July and August next year there will be days when the temperature is in excess of 40C. and that there will be 200 hours of sunshine
