Pretty much what me and others have been pointing out when some post their "evidence" of doom and gloom and ignoring the non-EU global events that affect the economy.

At least the penny has dropped and you've finally caught up, and presumably will point it out when they post their links, because you wouldn't want to be seen as a hypocrite now would you. :emoticon-0105-wink:

It's not pretty much what you and others have been saying at all. I'm unequivocal in my view that any form of 'hard Brexit' will be a disaster for our economy.

The devaluation of the pound will start hitting consumers over the coming months, and will be the first twinge of pain that Brexit COULD deliver, if the pragmatic approach isn't followed by May and the 3 Stooges

The fact we haven't left yet is EXACTLY what others have been pointing out to the sack cloth and ashes brigade.

No Dull. Every time Kustard, the Fat Man, the Sex Predator or you post a link to how everything is rosy in post Brexit Britain it's pointed out to you and your simple padawans that A50 hasn't been triggered and all that May has done so far is spin around saying "Brexit means Brexit" whilst being humiliated in court by the pro democracy Gina Miller :emoticon-0148-yes:

You must be relieved that Christmas is over. Were the chat lines operating during the festive break?

Surely there's a difference between hypothesising about what will probably happen, be it negative or positive, especially if it's based on some economic theory and jumping on some news that has nothing to do with Brexit and moaning that other people aren't being positive. You trying to equate the two is another lame attempt to show how clever you think you are. You decide you've won the argument as soon as you post a couple of winky faces so it would be quicker to just do that and carry on with this delusion of yours that you're a step ahead.

    Nope.

What's been happening is that any piece of positive economic news has been portrayed as a sign that the pre-referendum predictions of an economic crash for the UK post Brexit was somehow false, as you've amply demonstrated with the 'sack cloth and ashes' comment there ;)

You going the match on Friday?

It's no surprise that you can't see how that refers more to the remoaners.

I doubt you could, but if you managed it, you'd still try to sneak a pithy barb in to cover your obsession. :emoticon-0113-sleep

Only it doesn't, hence the reason you haven't qualified what that actually means.

    I'm in E2 btw <ok>

How have I changed the subject?

I've merely said your retort was meaningless, as you failed to qualify what you actually meant #standard

For the purposes of complete clarity, I maintain my view that any form of 'hard Brexit' will be extremely painful for those with the least disposable income, same as I've maintained throughout.

What's your view on the latest legal challenge regarding article 127 of the Lisbon treaty btw? Ironically, the points raised by this legal challenge could give the Govt a strong hand in Brussels, as invoking article 50, doesn't affect our EEA status according to the legal experts behind this challenge.

So, back to your original point, you'll be pointing out to the remoaners that nothing has happened yet when they post their doom and gloom. Yes?

The pound has tanked, and this will lead to inflation when the supply chain stops taking the pill, which was a direct result of the vote. So something HAS happened.

That aside nothing has happened in relation to our EU status and thus the true effects of what Brexit will deliver if single market access is lost, are yet to be felt, yes. Which is what everyone has been saying ffs.

The Govt and Treasury have put the net cost at £56BN over the coming years.
