"And the Union workhouses." demanded Saxton. "Are they still in operation?"
"Both very busy, sir..."
"Those who are badly off must go there."
"Many can't go there; and many would rather die."
"If they would rather die," said Saxton, "they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population!"

of course. It'll end the only way it can, mass unemployment, followed by financial collapse and then war, unless the war comes first, of course. It's been inevitable for ages but now the geo-political status quo has ended, it's almost a certainty.

well, tbh, you don't actually think, do you? You see 'Britishness', where's I just see a geographical location of birth, nothing more than an accident of time and place.
