Brexit bashers forced to admit UK economy is ‘on the up’ with fastest growth for a YEAR.

The Confederation of British Industry (CBI) admitted UK firms were growing at their fastest rate for 12 months, while the Bank of England said consumer spending, lending by banks and housebuilding were on the increase towards the end of the year.

The CBI and the Bank of England warned Britons against voting to leave the EU in the run-up to the referendum but both have now been forced to concede the post-Brexit economy is doing better than most Remoaners expected.

Probably a more reliable source than a newspaper that needs to capitalise certain words in its headline to make it easier for the reader.

@NowsufferinginSpain the FTSE100 P/E ratio is 33. What do you reckon? Overvalued and time to cash in your chips before the A50 trigger ****storm?

MAY probably has something to do with it. But it's actually someone else's mess she's doing such a poor job of clearing up.

Barclays tell clients they are forecasting a recovery in the GBP/EUR exchange rate through 2017 as political sensitivities weigh on the Euro and an oversold Pound Sterling corrects higher once the Brexit process gets underway.

Locked Boris, David Davis and that twat Fox in a cupboard for a start. Then set about repairing some of the damage done to our international reputation, by use of, I don't know, diplomacy? Instead of playing up to the Mail and Express reading loony right in the gallery, she might consider an approach to Brexit calculated to do least damage to our economy.

She gets top marks from me for the leather trousers though <ok>.
