It really won't. UK will put in formal A50 with terms for leaving. EU experts will go through it with a fine toothed comb and give a full response a few months later. Only then will items of dispute be discussed.

Which is why failing to make the exit plan clear now is stupid as it just reduces the time in which agreement can be reached.

Nonsense. Generic EU bloke will have a pair of nines. Little will he know that May has two aces up her sleeve and the next day the EU will be paying us billions.

I can picture it now.

EU guy shows he's got four Jacks. Merkel and Juncker slap him on the back and share a victory high five.

May, head in hands, says she's only got a pair. Johnson, Davis and Fox start tearing into each other. May then places a pair of aces on the table, looks up wickedly and announces that she's got another pair before producing two more aces.

Pete starts singing Jerusalem. Kustard starts singing The Star Spangled Banner. Dull cuts and pastes a link from a far right blog, just to see what other people make of it.

Good times ahead.

Essentially it will be the poker scene in Only Fools and Horses. Boris will throw in his car when Merkel raises the stakes.

Not at all, the EU have said nothing will happen until the A50 has been sent in. Also you dont give way your hand.

Anyway the blokes in the room will have strippers and fine wine <ok>

They do know however that she is only playing with three jokers at the table and in this game jokers are useless.

Plenty is happening at the EU. They are already drawing up plans and anticipating what we will put in the A50 notification.

This isn't a game of poker. We will show our hand in March and then the EU will go through the pack and decide their hand.

Which is how you negotiate.

I dont understand how to moaners think we leavers will get all our way, we will not, it will be a compromise. Until then its up in the air.

We told you what the compromise was before the ****ing vote, as did the EU leaders.

It's hardly going to come as a surprise ffs.

Kustard is very inconsistent with his "argument". He's now claiming that he wants EU citizens to stay in the UK whereas a few months ago he wanted rid of the Romanians. It's almost like he's really, really thick.

Perhaps he thinks Romania is an Islamic State in the Middle East?
