If one party gets more votes than any other party they should win.

Then the UK is better making their own decisions. I think the other countries will think the same over time.

Just call us "winners" for short. The "In" campaigners are called "whinners".

If a majority, yes. If a plurality, they should find others to negotiate with and form a coalition.

Why not have a referendum every few months? No need to act on the referendums - just keep having them!

You can't have a plurality when there are only two options.

All countries make their own decisions and decide who they will and won't work with. Often that decision is to make a compromise.

So you agree that 25% is not a majority and in favour of a minority dictating to everyone else. I don't think that that is called democracy, but by that logic it seems that you would agree that Germany and France should be able to dictate to the rest of the EU

The one party with the most votes should govern. Germany and France are not a party. I think the MEPs should have the power in the EU.

Which party should govern the EU in this fantasy undemocratic universe?

First you see which party has a majority of MEPs. If no party has a majority then can anybody form a government with the support of the majority of the MEPs?
In the UK you see which party has a majority of MPs. The Conservatives do. They form the government!

Some people seem to think that proportion of the population is important. If that is the case - why have constituencies? why have MPs?
You are just asking for trouble.
You should come up with a government forming system that is logical.
The present one we have in the UK is logical. I would prefer transferable vote but I was defeated in the referendum so I accept the majority decision and I think we should then have the system we have now.

I think you've gone mad from spending too long locked in that stuffy garage that you call a home office sniffing your own farts
